ABOUT

Mattijs van Andel, founder of Press Play Legal, is an experienced all-round legal professional, specializing in legal aspects of media & entertainment.

Amongst others, he advises content producers, distributors, record labels and creative talent. Clients trust him with matters related to commercial contracts. Also, Mattijs has ample experience in managing claims and infringements of intellectual property rights, more specifically copyrights.

In 2009, Mattijs started his career at the international law firm Loyens & Loeff.

In his position as a legal counsel at Warner Bros TV Production NL, Kaap Holland Film and BlazHoffski Productions from 2012 until 2017, he advised the management and serviced the Warner Bros Entertainment group. Moreover, he  worked with production teams. In this capacity, he contributed to the development and production of a wide range of television programs and films.

Driven by a passion for inspiring content, Mattijs applies his thorough knowledge of the media & entertainment sector and its laws and regulations.
